Living on rocky shores and in kelp beds, the Northern Abalone has been harvested almost to extinction.


Mussels are a very common sight along the coast, and large colonies of them can be seen anchored to rocks where the tide meets the shore.


Once considered a “working class” food, Oysters have since become a highly prized delicacy worldwide.


Usually found living in muddy seabeds, Scallops are most often collected commercially or by divers.
